What makes us unique from other churches:
We believe the ascended Lord Jesus Christ dispensed to the Apostle Paul new information called “the revelation of the mystery” (Rom 16:25, Col 1:25-27, Eph 3:2-4). This information was not revealed in the Prophetic portions of scripture (Old Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and the beginning of Acts). This revelation, given to Paul, was “kept secret since the world began” (Rom 16:25). The prophetic scriptures had been “spoken since the world began” (Acts 3:19-21).
This mystery information is about the church the body of Christ, a new creature. The body of Christ is made up of both Jew and Gentile, bond and free, male and female, young and old.
The church the body of Christ is not spiritual Israel, nor have we taken succession of their promises, covenants, or laws today (Rom. 9:4). The prophetic program has been interrupted, but God will fulfill his promises and covenants to Israel in the future (Rom 11:25-26).
The ascended Lord Jesus Christ instructs us to identify Paul as our pattern (1 Tim 1:16; 1 Cor 4:16; 1 Cor 11:1). When individuals and churches fail to rightly divide the Mystery information the ascended Lord Jesus gave to Paul from the instructions Jesus gave to his disciples in His earthly kingdom ministry, is when you see confusion and frustration with traditions and teachings on such subjects as tithing, baptism, the great commission, confession, sabbaths, holy days, prayer, and communion.
We must remember:
- Jesus, in his earthly ministry, ministered to the circumcision (Israel) (Rom 15:8).
- Peter and Paul had different commissions and taught different messages (Peter prophecy, and Paul mystery Galatians 2:6-8).
- The gospel of the kingdom is not the gospel of the grace of God. (Matt. 4:23; 10:5-8 vs Eph. 2:8-9
